In Niger State Zungeru has again been hit by robbers, by state transport officials being targeted and no less than 21 people kidnapped. SaharaReporters learned that on Sunday the bandits attacked and came along the Zungeru Route, the Niger State Transportation Authority's bus.

SaharaReporters heard from visionaries that during the attack no less than 40 persons were kidnapped by bandits as well. On that fateful day about 1am the gunmen invaded the communities to unleash their terror. Just a couple of Thursdays ago, after Boko Haram terrorists invaded the area and abducted no less than 50 people in Bassa, Kukoki communities in the Shiroro Local Government Area. The terrorists, who operated with Bandits, attacked the areas from Bassa, Kukoki to Palalli in Gurmana Ward, of the same Shiroro LGA, in large numbers. Residents said that a number of people were killed during a deadly invasion while the people still lived in terror. SaharaReporters was confirmed to have kidnapped several persons and killed a few other people only two Tuesdays earlier, the bandits and terrorists also attacked in "Brazilian daily light in Gurmana Ward, Magami in Manta Ward, Maguga and Marenje and other neighboring villages, using 10 motorcycles."
